Penrose triangle

The Penrose triangle is an unrealistic shape, it is an impossibility to make such a shape.

It's the same situation as the Borro rings, they also are impossible to construct.

There's no difficulty drawing these figures on a 2D piece of paper but it is not possible in 3D.

Roger Penrose did not make the original shape but he did popularize it.

It seems the Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvard may have been the originator of the shape, but it was not widely known until the shape was taken up by Escher when it was made known as Escher's Impossible Triangle.

Later Roger Penrose worked on the shape, without realizing it was already well-developed. It then became known as the Penrose Triangle.

Whatever it is called, it is a challenging shape.
